I became a Tutornova Mentor because…

I believe students have more of a chance to flourish if they’re in the right environment and provided with the right tools. Tutoring can provide both!

One piece of advice for students with big dreams is….

Get off Netflix! Unless you’re going to create a show and it’s research.

I’d describe my teaching style as…

Attentive, inventive, sensitive.

My biggest challenge in the HSC was…

Trusting my instincts.

I overcame this challenge by…

Blocking out the white noise of other people’s expectations.

If I could go back in time to when I was in high school I would tell myself…

Get out and exercise a bit more.

I keep motivated through hard times by…

Remembering that you’re going to have to do things you hate to be allowed to do the things you love.

My philosophy is…

Learn every word in the dictionary and you’ll never need to use the word bored.

My favourite productivity tool or app is…

DuoLingo! Hablas Espanol?

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually…

Exploring Sydney and beyond, going to music festivals, looking bemused, drinking tea or having a nap.
