I became a Tutornova Mentor because…

I want to help students with big dreams like me believe in themselves and ace the HSC using simple effective learning strategies.

One piece of advice for students with big dreams is….

To be consistent. Consistency is the key to success when it comes to the HSC, which should be treated as a marathon rather than a sprint. Constant motivation and dedication to work are necessary. Also, believe in your capabilities and trust in your instincts to achieve your personal best!

My biggest challenge in the HSC was…

To keep up my motivation levels and persevere through exams.

I overcame this challenge by…

Rewarding myself with extra time on YouTube and social every time I accomplished a task. This kept me efficient and motivated without getting burnt out.

I’d describe my teaching style as…

Dynamic and flexible, suited to the student’s needs. But usually, to deliver my message well, I like to use analogies and mnemonics. I also like to draw out visual diagrams and charts to break down information.

If I could go back in time to when I was in high school…

I would have exercised more and taken better care of my health.

I keep motivated through hard times by…

Rewarding myself whenever I accomplish certain tasks on my to-do list.

My philosophy is…

Work hard, play harder.

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually…

Chilling with my friends, brunching, sipping on Starbucks or catching up on TV shows and lectures.
