TUTORNOVA MENTOR

As a HSC All-Rounder, helping current HSC students has become a way to share my own knowledge and strategies on how to achieve a high ATAR. I seek to not only mentor students and provide them with valuable feedback, but to become a source of motivation throughout their thrilling yet unpredictable final year.

I became a Tutornova Mentor because…

Tutornova is a great platform to connect with students anytime, anywhere, allowing the opportunity to develop a personalised and efficient tutoring experience.

One piece of advice for students with big dreams is….

To steer every decision and choice you make towards achieving those dreams.

My biggest challenge in the HSC was…

Finding a way to limit my incessant procrastination.

I overcame this challenge by…

Creating a strict daily routine for myself and creating a balance between socialising and studying.

I’d describe my teaching style as…

Personal and focused.

If I could go back in time to when I was in high school I would tell myself…

To seek opportunities beyond academia, such as participating in more extra-curricular activities outside my comfort zone. I would also tell myself to enjoy my time in high school and make more friends!

I keep motivated through hard times by…

Watching motivational TED talks or seeking encouragement from my family and friends. Don’t forget that the people closest to are always willing to help.

My philosophy is…

To live knowing that you’ve tried, rather than to die knowing that you hadn’t.

My favourite productivity tool or app is…

Planner Pro! It allows me to create daily tasks which I can set reminders for and it syncs any important calendar dates.

When I’m not teaching, I’m usually…

Either doing some online shopping or going real life shopping, it depends on the weather!
